In this training course we explore different ways of doing project management that align with feminist principles. The Feminist Project Management Training Course is designed to provide project managers, team leaders, and professionals with a comprehensive understanding of how feminist principles can transform project management practices. This training explores how integrating feminist principles into project management can foster better collaboration, communication, care and reflection, ultimately leading to more sustainable and impactful projects.

Powerful tools and frameworks for overcoming project challenges using feminist principles
Concrete strategies for leading projects more aligned to the values of power sharing, inclusivity and collective care
Increased ability and confidence to engage more skilfully with team challenges, including the ability to respond more adequately to projects where there is stress and trauma
Session 1
Introduction to FPM and power
This session will serve as an introduction to the overall course. Together we will dive into how you identify power, what your power is and how you share power as a feminist project manager.
Session 2
Collaboration & Communication
This session is about imagining a feminist approach to collaboration and communication by exploring how you can navigate power dynamics within this as a feminist project manager.
Session 3
Collective care & reflection
This session focuses on how to weave self & collective care in projects, followed by exploring feminist reflection and how to use it to transform practice.
Bonus session
Intervision
Peer-to-peer group session to learn from each other's challenges and successes in a brave and reflective space.

Bonus session: Peer-to-peer intervision on October 22, 1pm - 2.30pm BST

Laura Dix has 15 years experience working in various roles within the gender-based violence sector in the UK, and has previously managed projects globally and across the UK. She has a master's degree in Gender, Sexuality and Society and is Co-Chair of the Board for Women + Health Camden.
Janna Visser
Facilitator
Janna Visser is an independent feminist consultant, project manager and researcher. She has over 7 years of experience working with international development organisations, local women's rights organisations, academic institutions and private organisations working on diverse projects in various roles.
